London_Istanbul

New Architects: Istanbul Weds 3 Feb 2010, 6.30pm (doors open 6pm) London_Istanbul is an international exchange programme that seeks to identify new architectural talent in both London and Istanbul. The architects taking part in the exchange include David Kohn Architects, Studio Weave and 00:/ from London, and Asli K. Ingin, ddrlp and Tuspa NK from Istanbul. The Architecture Foundation is hosting three emerging architecture practices from Istanbul as part of an international exchange programme. Asli K. Ingin, ddrlp and Tuspa NK will be presenting their practice and projects together for the first time in the UK. The architects will be in conversation with David Kohn Architects, Studio Weave and oo:/, following their visit to Istanbul in autumn 2009. Chaired by Justin McGuirk, Editor, Icon. As part of the exchange programme, the Istanbul architects will also be taking part in a programme of activity in London coordinated by their London counterparts. Read More
