Funding cuts in the arts in Europe are being monitored via a number of online resources – for example, a report has been compiled by SICA in the Netherlands which can be accessed from a webpage entitled “Hard times for the arts in Europe”. The Guardian newspaper in the UK has published a number of articles on this topic – e.g. by Mark Ravenhill and Polly Townbee – and have set up Cutswatch.
