Under the ASEF’s Asia-Europe Cultural Partnership Initiatives in partnership with Arts Council of Mongolia, the East meets West Film Forum was held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia from 4-8 October 2010 with the aims to facilitate and augment international networks and partnerships between Asian and European filmmakers. In addition, the forum provided Mongolian filmmakers with opportunities to connect with the world, learn more about their craft, enhance their skills and collaborate with other participating filmmakers towards joint productions and distribution.
