SO HOW BAD IS IT?

Arts Quarter has just launched the findings of its 3rd " Recession Impacts Survey" into the affects of the current economic climate on the UK cultural sector. The Report provides a detailed insight into how the recession has continued to work its way through the cultural sector, looking at both impacts on fund-raising and earned income streams, now across a period of 18 months to September 2010. Findings indicate that while some degree of recovery is evident, there remains a considerable way to go as the sector prepares itself for the outcomes of the government's Comprehensive Spending Review which could lead to a double-dip recession for the sector.
