There will be an international conference entitled The Future of US Foreign Policy: The Revival of Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy? In Washington DC, from 4-6 January 2011. The event will explore the concepts of soft power and cultural diplomacy and assess the role they currently play in U.S. foreign policy. The program will then consider the potential for these strategies in the future and will provide clear recommendations for policy makers in the U.S. and internationally.
