DOMINGO AND VASSILIOU – TOGETHER AGAIN…

Europa Nostra’s European Heritage Congress 2011 will be held in Amsterdam in June. Their Congress will seek to demonstrate the power of Europe´s heritage movement by bringing together our many members – organisations and individuals - as well as other European heritage professionals and volunteers and representatives of Europe's best cultural heritage achievements. They are proud to announce that this year, the European Heritage Awards Ceremony will be held at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (10 June) with the participation of our President Plácido Domingo and the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism, Sport, Media and Youth, Mrs Androulla Vassiliou. They will jointly present the 2011 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards.
