DON’T EXCLUDE CREATIVITY FROM ACCREDITATION…

The European University Association (EUA) has published a publication on quality assurance in higher education entitled ‘Creativity and Diversity – Challenges for Quality Assurance’ beyond 2010’, which includes an article written by AEC (European Association of Conservatoires) quality assurance expert Linda Messas and Martin Prchal, AEC Chief Executive. In this article entitled ‘Why respecting diversity and creativity is essential in quality assurance and accreditation processes: Observations and experiences from the field of music’, the authors advocate for a stronger subject-specific and European-level approach to quality assurance and accreditation in Europe.
