ARTS AND RECONCILIATION…

The Indra Congress (International Development of the Arts for Reconciliation) has been launched to take over the grassroots work with young people and practitioners undertaken by ARROW and the University College Plymouth St Mark and St John (UCP Marjon) over the past 6 years. This follows the the first ARROW (Art: a Resource for Reconciliation Over the World) Global Congress held in June 2010 at UCP Marjon, which involved young people from Burnley, Bolton, Durham, Derry and Plymouth, coming together for a week at the Desmond Tutu Centre in Plymouth with their peers from South Africa, Sierra Leone, Palestine, Kosovo, India, Portugal, Brazil, China and Malaysia.
