SO WHAT DO THE FRENCH-CANADIANS THINK?

There will be a conference on Public support for the arts in an era of the rise of cultural cities: challenges and prospects , on 22-23 November 2010, at the Conservatoire de Lyon, 4 mounted Decourtray Cardinal, Lyon, France. The event is organised by the Centre Jacques Cartier, the Arts Council of Montreal, the Observatory of Cultural Policies, the Ministry of Culture and Communication, Culture Montréal, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Council of Arts and Letters from Quebec. It aims to examine the complex dynamics of support for artistic creation that speaks to the urban scale in order to identify new approaches.
