DOORS CLOSE, ANOTHER OPENS…
SaneSociety.org, one of the pioneers in Internet social networks and TalentSeekers.net, the talent scout, are on sale. Both projects, aimed at serving the international art community, share a database of over 100,000 contacts in the world of art, music and literature and have the support of thousands of artists from more than 100 countries. The founders are now moving to build, through Merkopolis, an independent international network of local markets as an alternative to the large multinationals who dominate the sector. They want to reach agreements with thousands of small entrepreneurs who will share the revenue on a 50/50 basis in their own city, region or country. For this purpose, they have developed a sophisticated online trading platform on the market.
